Very thin @ CB.. Will a trade for an experienced CB be viable?

If the Pats were in the same situation, you'd be OK with BB throwing away the season by trading away one of his better players?

vegas currently has them a 1/125 odds of making the playoffs. So yes, ill take a pick over .75% chance that the team may make the playoffs.

We should go for Revis....

What a horrible, less-than-useless list of workout candidates that is.

MULTIPLE Punters, Place-Kickers & Long-Snappers? Really? Yet only one CB, and zero OTs?

You object to them having a backup candidate in the rolodex if they lose their P, K or LS?

This was a routine tryout of players unemployed in November. They're not coming up with a significant CB or LT from that pool.

Two words: Shadow. Roster.

We worked out CB Cortland Finnegan a few weeks ago. Maybe we should see if he's still available?

So, You'd rather the Patriots not have an idea who might be available in the event one of Allen, Gostkowski, or Cardona get hurt? Do you need to be reminded about 2003 when they used 3 long snappers? Or 2006 when they used 3 Punters? Or had to go get Shayne Graham off the scrap heap in 2010 because Gostkowski got injured?

Kickers, Punters & Long-Snappers do not need to be flown to BOS or PRO, then be driven to Foxborough,
then be put through workouts just to show that they are exactly the same as they were one month ago,
one year ago or ten years ago. The differences between those guys and those who have NFL jobs are not
visable on a practice field; they are are visable on a game-day field when the pressure is literally staring
them in their faces. Having any of them in town for workouts reveal absolutely nothing whatsoever.

Bill & Nick need to work out CBs & OTs, not feckin specialists, you know, just in case.

All that's missing is a solid, veteran cornerback to fill the void that Terell Brown left. My guess is they'll try and pick someone off the street. So take your pick:

I wonder about adding a veteran like Chris Houston, Aaron Ross, or Tim Jennings

I would prefer Finnegan.

One would have to think that if we're going to make a move, it would probably be sooner than later.

The NYG and DEN games are coming up in a 3 week span when the Washington game is over on Sunday. It makes sense to try and acclimate any new signing as soon as possible, particularly for the DEN game, and eventually for the postseason.

dont think that finnegan is any better than guys who are already here

In a pinch is there a receiver that can be the 2015 version of (2005 or 2006) Troy Brown? For a period of games I think the Patriots lost like every single CB that ever played a snap in a game. If I recall Troy did alright all things considered, and even ended up with an Int. (that's going way back so forgive if there are errors).
