This is not going to be a very enjoyable "game" for Pats fans tonight.......1) We are playing the ultimate Vanilla game plan........2) Hardly any of our primary offensive weapons (other than Brady, and Welker.....and Faulk) are on this trip..........so.......don't expect alot of excitement tonight folks.....but just enjoy that FOOTBALL SEASON IS BACK!!!! GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

right........I was just hoping to see a little more electricity out there offensively tonight....when you see all these great offseason signings and have a guy like Maroney waiting in the wings.....you just kind of hope to get a chance to see them light it up a bit;.....one man's opinion....

I hear you but let's remember, Maroney did not play, Stallworth did not play, Moss did not play, Watson did not play, K. Brady did not play...


It is hard to have some "electricity" and to "light it up" with all of those weapons on the shelf.

when did "vanilla" become synonymous with "bland?" last I checked vanilla has plenty of taste and substance. Is the idea that vanilla is boring?

whatever it is, I hate the term. I was living in VA last year and constantly heard it as an excuse for why the Redskins sucked. Apparently they continued using vanilla plays during the regular season too.

whatever it is, I hate the term. I was living in VA last year and constantly heard it as an excuse for why the Redskins sucked. Apparently they continued using vanilla plays during the regular season too.

you are right....that has become the term.....kind of plain I guess...BB uses it every year in preseason so that our opponents have no idea what to expect when it comes time for things to really count......kind of tough as a fan.....but of course I realize what everyone is saying we had very few of our O weapons out there anyways..........thx

I live in FL....watched the game via a tampa channel......maybe you all did too I don't know how those things work.....but talk about NO coverage of the Pats pregame.......no props.......and complete "homerism" jabber throughout the entire game......absolutely atrocious.....I had to turn the volume off in the first quarter......haven't had to do that too often

Definitely was more of a Tapioca if you ask me. Bland AND sucky, the kind you have only if it's free.
