Update: Prince Aaron demands Packers fire GM

Rodgers
He has accessed the cheat code: call out someone specifically in the organization and drag them through the mud.

He’ll get traded soon.

There’s no way out. Players and coaches would be forced to choose sides if this continues.

There wouldn't be much of a choice. They'd be forced to choose whichever side the ownership went with.

What a drama queen. He let all the excuses for him over the years go to his head. He is a QB that makes excuses instead of overcomes and he has always been that way.

Favre didn't get his coach fired or ask the GM to be fired though. Rodgers is taking things to a whole other level of diva.

Favre did his best to get Ted Thompson fired. But with Rodgers waiting in the wings and Favre pissing off Packers fans with his annual "Will he retire?" diva act played out on ESPN every offseason, Favre just lost his power to pull a diva act to get his way.

There must be something in the water in WI that turns Packer QBs into divas. Rodgers' tenure in Green Bay may end in a similar fashion to Favre's.

Favre had his problems and his own massive ego, but he was a well liked teammate and had a lot of allies, at least. Rodgers spars with everyone. He’s the problem.

The Steelers also have a habit of turning every superstar into a total entitled **** bag. Maybe it’s the cult hero worship in these smaller cities with rich histories.

Most Championships, Packers QBs

Bart Starr - 5
Red Dunn - 4
Arnie Herber - 3
Irv Comp - 1
Brett Favre - 1
Aaron Rodgers - 1
Deshone Kizer - 0

The Packers not taking Jimmy G and the #3 pick for him is the worst decision in sports since Grady Little left Pedro in the game. If that was his call, he should be fired.

Ground Hog Day.

(Insert Name Of Packers' Diva Quarterback Here) "You already have my replacement. You can't fire me! I quit!"

Up Next: Rodgers signs with the Minnesota Vikings, holds a tearful retirement press conference, a terrible stop with the Jets, a few pornographic selfies, and late night Copper Fit commercials with Dez Bryant.

Rodgers is the kind of guy BB would love to coach...

It may be because of the greatly reduced cap hit the if they trade him after June 1st.

I don’t know know why the hell the CBA works like this because it seems at odds with the wishes of the players and ownership to designate the date after the draft.

I would take Aaron over any QB we presently have to start.

I was just reading some news scoops about AR. Ian Rapoport is truly the worst “reputable” reporter in the NFL, and anyone who thinks this guy is legit is kidding themselves. He does have access to a lot of sources and he doesn’t publish fake stories, but he purposely spins stories or omits key counter perspectives to placate his sources and tries to push a narrative rather than just reporting facts like Schefter. Guy has been doing this for years...can’t stand him (and don’t care.)

Schefter and Glazer basically have to kick him in the balls minutes later.

Brady did a number on Brees and Rodgers psyche in his first NFC season.
He genuinely shook up league imo. AFC to NFC. Some situations were already bad but things came to a head in Houston, GB & almost Sea. If people believe the Stafford rumors about not wanting to come here one might argue that as well.

I'm in the minority and don't think it's the worst thing in the world. Owners and FO suits are creeps. I'm worker > company so I don't mind these guys having a little more control.

Agreed. But Rodgers is still a dic.khead. As someone in his position there are better ways to want out than whatever the hell this mess is.

”You tell em, little guy. That GM sounds really mean, and I’m sorry he hurt your feelings. Make sure you tune in to the Super Bowl in two weeks to watch me play, and remember to tell all your little friends about it.”

Note to Rodgers:

When you find yourself completely surrounded by assholes all your life, there is a good chance you're the a-hole.
Born into a family of assholes and then drafted by a team managed by assholes. I fear Jeopardy is also run by assholes, and Aaron doesn't know it yet.

Feel bad for him.
