You know you want to see Snow Bowl 2. Cmon Lake Erie make it happen!

We made the playoffs with a rookie QB. Everything from now on is gravy.

Beating the Bills would be an upset, but we can do it. We will need to CLEAN UP our game a lot though.

instead of celebrating free hat day, bufflo fan hits up Patriots forum starting game threads....

wtf....

this should be illegal... i know its buffalo, and they like to spoon with their sister/wives to stay warm up in appalachia north, but letting him start the game thread is just all kinds of wrong
It should be locked and a new one should be started by a Patsfan.

I’m not so sure. In the Gillette game the Bills dominated the LOS. There’s nothing about cold, snowy weather that would indicate they can’t do it again.

Did you see that pic six yesterday? Defenses are taking away everything in the middle and forcing him to throw outside and he can't or won't.

That was a bad throw Jones and a great play by Xavien Howard. Jones looked down the receiver and threw it too far outside of the receiver. That was a mistake on Jones part to go with a great play by one of the best CBs in the league. Stop making it like teams are doing this every game.

And did you see the dimes Jones threw to Jakobi Meyers for 39 yards and Hunter Henry for 35 yards. It isn't like Jones cannot throw to the outside or deep.

Jones didn't have a great game yesterday. But he wasn't awful. When they ran the no huddle, he was pretty great. When they let him run the play action (which they don't run enough), he was pretty good. They need to mix that stuff into the playoffs. They also have to make Kendrick Bourne a more of a focal point of the offense and stop with this four targets a game pitch count. They have the tools to be more efficient on offense in the passing game. It is time to pull out the stops in the playoffs and stop putting a governor on the passing offense.

And when I say this, I don't mean they have to throw 30-40 times against Buffalo, but when they do, they need to play to some of their strengths that they don't utilize enough more. More play action, more fast paced offense, more utilization of Bourne and Henry.

So that throw to Jacoby didn't happen? Do you just pick and choose what throws happen and don't happen in your mind?

Nobody will give us a chance this week....I can understand that, but let's see if we can go and shock the world!!!!!!!

Can't have turnovers and have to stop Allen from running wild.

Need a good start. Just can't afford to be playing.from down two scores in this one.

I don’t think that makes sense. The defense was in cover 2. That’s a typical defense that teams have been running for years. It’s not like it is just used for qb’s who can’t throw outside (in fact, it’s a middle of the field open defense).
Pretty sure the ball to Agholor up the sideline was vs cover 2 also.
You can hit hole shots and can run smash concepts and hit sail/corner routes to the outside against cover 2.
Howard, who is a great player, made a good play and Mac misread the defense. Costly mistake.

That is the thing I don't get yesterday. The Pats handed the Dolphins the lead yesterday. They knew Tua only is good if he makes short quick passes and every defender other than the front four were 5-10 yards off the line of scrimmage that whole drive. They played a soft zone against a quick pass QB. Didn't make any sense whatsoever. And they played that defense the entire game against Buffalo in Foxboro.

The Pats need to be more aggressive on Saturday. They need to disrupt Allen. They need to hit his receivers near the line of scrimmage. They cannot play passive like they did last time.

they can't be more aggressive, the play calling is bend and break ala Patricia, so you see some teams move on the Pats with easy, I hate this soft zone stuff they are constantly calling but thats how the coaches want to play, because they don't want to allow big plays so they allow the opponent to move the sticks constently wearing down the D and putting pressure on the O and a rookie QB to put points on the board

I counted at least 4, I know there was 2 to Meyers and 2 to Henry.

Can we do this properly and can this thread please. This guys is trolling us starting it so early.

All the talk about needing to start fast better finally be reflected in the coaches decisions on Sat night!
Don't defer if you win the toss
Don't come out conservative with 3 runs up the middle the first drive
Don't wait till the 4th qtr to let Mac throw down the sidelines
Don't let Harry touch the field
Do play Wilkerson & change up the tempo early
Do pressure Allen immediately & contain the edges
Do use Rham & Jonu in the passing/screen game from the outset
Do be aggressive in play calls on both sides, this isn't the time for safe decisions.

The seven game winning streak, the Pats played aggressive defense.

And we cannot blame Patricia. There is zero evidence that Patricia has anything to do with the defense. None.

Buffalo will probably beat us, then their done.
