Uncapped 2007

Is an uncapped 2007 a guaranteed outcome if we don't get a deal done by tonight, or can a deal for 2007 be finished later?

Obviously, we want a higher salary cap this year but I am wondering if being uncapped is the only option if Upshaw and the owners cannot agree.
