If there’s a team that really wants to give the Patriots a third round pick for Milton, then the Patriots better take the deal right away before that GM is fired or sobers up.
We’d be losing our minds if Milton played like that in a preseason game against tomorrow’s practice squadders and Tuesday try out guys and not guys on a 48 man game roster.
He was damn impressive if you ask me. Not just his arm and mobility but also with his composure in managing the game.
He basically played a college offense, mostly (I think) out of the shotgun, RPA, limited reads....biggest plays made out of structure.....didn't really show anything he didn't show in 6yrs of college.
IIRC knock on him coming out of camp was inaccurate, very rough. Those are about him not his opponents. He showed accuracy and poise today. That’s an improvement.
But it’s crazy talking about trading him. We need a good backup for Maye. Looks like Milton has solved that problem for us.
