The phone destruction issue really demonstrates just how much of snake Goodell and company are. Wells testifies that they originally asked for texts between Brady and 3 people. Although his phone was destroyed and he refused hand over the phone earlier, Wells never requested it. Instead, Brady's team showed via phone records obtained from the company that the NFL had all the texts from those individuals. Brady actually complied 100% with the NFL's request. Ultimately, the phone destruction issue amounts to a media ploy based on nothing more than imaginary incriminating texts that the NFL never asked for in its investigation. For Goodell to make an "adverse inference" from this is bogus and hopefully demonstrates evidence partiality.
