day 7... post away...

Lets hope we get some clarity on some of yesterday's injuries ... Morgan Moses & Garrett Bradbury in particular... there is a thread for that, so if we do get an update, please re-post the info there as well...

Like hearing about Polk and Baker: they have so many fans pulling for them here.
i've been hard on Polk... have basically forgotten about Baker... but if they turn it around, and contribute in a positive way, then good on them... would welcome them (back) to New England with open arms... would love to be proven wrong in this case...

Give the younger Polk and Baker over the Older Bourne and Hollins. They're younger are still on cheap Rookie contracts.

If Polk plays the way he did last year and Baker really is too stupid to know the offense, anyone at all would be better.

AJ: I know as a Team we have not seen it much: but sometimes young WR's make that Second year jump. Some Fans here are still waiting on Harry and Thornton they know who they are.

Neither lacked the athleticism to be good, they just weren’t. Maybe better coaching and execution can unlock them.

And when will you be able to judge that Polk is playing the way he did last year/
========
With regatd to Baker, I suspect that the staff will have a much easier task of evaluation.

Baker isn't a more likely contributor than Bourne and Hollins. I wouldn't take him even he didn't count anything against the cap.

We'll see you've have been wrong before like myself. I know what I saw Pre Draft in Javon Baker: that Baker is better than Hollins and Bourne combined.

It doesn’t happen magically and no WR in NFL history produced less per playing time than Polk. Sometimes they just suck

They do this thing every year called training camp where they have a bunch of practices to evaluate players. And then they even play these practice games just so they can evaluate them further.

I get it but we still have to give him at least Two years. Rome wasn't built in a year.

Rome had 54 catches and 734 yards. Maybe not built in a day but certainly a season.

I really hope DarrylS won’t be throwing any bildos onto the field. It happened last night at a wnba game.

Didn’t that start with the Bildoes?

thank you for clarifying.

So, you think that you will be able to tell from Training Camp is Polk's 2025 play will be as bad as last year?
==========
I won't. I will certainly understand if Polk is traded or cut because Josh doesn't see him fitting into his schemes.

Personally, I think that Polk was 3rd round talent last year and had terrible coaching and should be given a 2nd year develop. Giving up on 2nd-4th round WR's after one year with Josh coming just doesn't seem right.
