If if remember correctly, that pass kinda went through the a couple of defenders and may have even been tipped. It certainly wasn't a clean pass. Those types of passes are much harder to catch, when you have hands flashing in front of your face. I will have to watch the highlight again (if anyone has, please post it) to confirm. I certainly wouldn't be cutting him on that play.
Kind of like the tipped pass that Chism CAUGHT and turned into a TD.

Not the same at all. The pass to Chism was a duck that he could adjust to. The pass to Baker had heat on it, much harder pass to catch when you see it late.

LOL PF2. Let's not be too knee jerk.

Maye took a shot to Hollins and it didn't look like they were on the same page either. Might have been Dobbs but I think it was Maye.

We didn't really see that much from any WR last night until later in the game when Chism started getting a little hot. Definitely a good start for him but still need to see more from him.

I think the battle between Hollins, Chism, Baker, Polk, and whoever else is still very tight. I put them in the order I see it right now but I don't see anyone with a stronghold.

I'd also say that even though Diggs, Pop, Boutte, and Williams are clearly our top 4 (again I put them in my pecking order) I don't see anyone with a stronghold on play time yet and I could see this play out in various ways. And I even give the winner of first group a chance to steal some PT as the year goes on.
I agree on top 4, I have Hollins and baker rounding it out and chism on PS right now. We will see how it develops this week.

So you believe that no one else from any other organization was watching him last night, either live or ON TAPE? I don't.
That’s not what I said. Those teams will not have had him in the field for a single practice or in the locker room for a single day. He hasn’t even seen the playbook.
They evaluated him and didn’t draft him. You are suggesting they will cut a guy who was with them all camp, knows the system, made the team, because they have to have a guy they felt wasn’t worth a draft pick, because he caught a few short passes against practice squad guys?

So can someone remind me what happens after practice on the 10th of this month? Is camp just closed to the public and we still getting written updates? Any video? Do we get to see any of the Vikings joint practice on the 14 and 15th?

First we have some joint practices in Minn those are open to their fans and both media's.

Then yes closed to public and I think media gets limited access at the beginning.

Baker is Thornton all over again no thanks: WR's who can't catch in an actual game. We've all seen this movie before pass.
