PATRIOTS TRAINING CAMP Training Camp Day 1 - July 23

It seems to me that beyond the play, the most interesting development is that Wallace was used at left guard, and not right tackle.

From what I've read Moses had a horrible day, which isn't a great concern, except D Jacobs is backing him up.

I never thought Robinson was that good, and it's early, but what are they doing?

OL review with no pads, good or bad, is pointless. It's interesting to talk about who was used where, and with whom, but performance is fairly meaningless. DL too, for that matter. Talk to me when the pads come on.

Yeah, camp doesn't really start until Monday.

But where they lineup the very first day tells us where things stand now. The positions seemed to line up everywhere else.

I'm not concerned about play. It's about how the coaches perceive the players as training camp begins.

Sure things can/will change, and players will get moved around, but beginning like this doesn't go without meaning.

First I did not find a dog.

It was cool to check out some puppies but for a lot of reasons I think I'm going to get an older dog. It was pretty crowded though and I'm sure some families got/will get a little bigger after the event. It was tough to get info from the volunteers because it was busy.

It's still a little soon after my last dog passed but in the next few months I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for my next best friend.
My bulldog Bruschi died 3 weeks ago. Cant even bring myself to thinking about getting another dog right now.

If this duo can stay healthy they are going to be a ****in problem for most IOL, interior pass can impact the play significantly because the QB doesn't have the ability/room to step up in the pocket. Those 2 in the middle will allow the LBs and Edge rushers a lot of 1v1 opportunities.

I don't think I have been this excited for a Pats D since the early 2000's

its aggravating to hear because there was nothing said or rumored about Polk prior to... Vrabel laid out all the injuries and expected return times in one of his pressers... then this...

He has off season shoulder surgery. This really isn't a huge surprise despite Vrabes not saying it.

Sorry to hear that. Louie passed about 3 weeks ago too. I'm the opposite though I'm having a hard time without one. I do think today would probably have been too soon but I'm keeping an eye and hopefully the right one finds me at the right time.

Love the name by the way. The real Bru was a bulldog too.
