I see two positions where this may be important: LT and QB.

If we believe that the current prospects aren't worthy, and perhaps that we have other less expensive solutions, then perhaps we should trade 2 of our top 63 picks for 2019 first so that we will have the ammunition to address these positions next year if we need to.

Under this scenario, we'd see if we have a starting LT in Garcia (or perhaps someone else), and whether one of flyers on a QB has paid off.

Unpopular but could be wise

If we could find a team willing to deal a 2nd and future 1 for either 23 or 31 id do it in a heartbeat.
That's probably doable on value, for a playoff team.

BB loves to wheel and deal in the draft, I would think all things would be possible, including any and all trades that have been or will be suggested.

I'd probably follow them like crazy and pray they lose every game.

Just look at how the browns ended up this year getting #4 overall

I'd trade both 1s for 1s next year if the team we trade with sux enough and If we can't get the right guy to groom now then try to set us up to get that guy next year.

But this only works if Bill is here long term. The shorter his term the more I want a guy now so he gets plenty of Bill time.

We need a team who’s window is right now, a team like say the falcons. 31 for 58 and their 2019 first? That team Is prob a few impact players away from competing with the top of the NFC,plus there’s the familiarity with the two front offices. Looking at the bottom of round 1 there’s impact WRs and TEs that prob won’t make it to 58 (Sutton, Kirk, gesicki, goedert). They could use an upgrade over sanu and hopper.

Trade number 23,43 and a first rounder in 2019 and some other picks to get the number 2 overall pick.

We’d better be getting the next great nfl quarterback with the haul we’re giving to the giants. Sadly I don’t think there’s a qb in this class that will be that guy. A few good but not great qbs in this class.

I think josh Rosen's that guy. Call me crazy but he reminds me of rodgers. Like his pocket presence.
