No way in hell Dallas is that dumb. And neither are we. You can't make a trade of that magnitude this late. It's taken Chad 3 years to learn our offense, how is he going to learn Dallas' in a week? By the same token, how can you trade for a RT and expect him to pick up our system in a week and perform as a starter?
This is a great video game trade, but not gunna happen here in the real world.
We could've moved Kaczur inside to RG earlier in camp, when O'Cal was healthy. I actually think that would've made for a pretty strong line, but obviously with O'Cal's injury, now the only option internally is having Britt move to RT and Kaczur move inside. That's too much moving around.
As for trading Jackson, I'm against it. He showed flashes again this preseason. He's a long way from being a consistent contributor, but we should give him time.
Love to do it but why would Dallas be so desperate or stupid? if they want to trade Marten, get someone who has shown they're a legit NFL wideout just lost behind quality starters.
Didn't we draft him in 2001? He was a stud at the University of Washington and I had high hopes for him at safety, but I guess being a squid turned out to be too big a liability.
Glad to see him successful in another career. Being an admiral is quite an achievement.

I hear that we draft him because of his 40 time. But then found out that it was his underwater 40. Ah well, 7th round picks are a dime a dozen anyway, aren't they?
