The good news is that he will slip most likely into the 2nd round next year! 6'6" 258 that is a big target!!

The good news is that he will slip most likely into the 2nd round next year! 6'6" 258 that is a big target!!

He may ask for a medical redshirt. If not and he comes out in 2010, he could still end up going in the 1st round, but probably in the 20-30 range instead of an almost guaranteed top 20. He's too special a talent to fall much unless there are long term concerns about his injury.

If the injury is healed enough so that by March he can start working out for teams, I think he should come out. There is a lot of film on him already, so while some will say working out for teams is key, I would say that it is not as huge as it used to be. ie: Crabgrass from last year's draft.
