I was impressed with him at the Senior Bowl. He seemed to have good pad level, and at 239 lbs seemed Dillion-esque. Obviously, I like Brian Leonard (but if he's taken in the 2nd), what about Hunt in the 3rd round?

Hunt is probably the best blitz pick up back I've seen play in the draft. He gets stronger as he gets more carries. He can catch the ball and seems to know where to "sit down" when running routes in zone coverage. He could go in the 2nd if he runs a good 40 time or he could drop to the 4th if he runs poorly.

But I agree with you, I'd take Leonard first.

Having watched every PSU game in the past three years, I can tell you that Hunt gives everything he has on every play. If he gets the ball, you are going to need to get 3 or 4 guys on him, because he has such a strong second effort. Really a bruiser in terms of running style. Can change direction and push a lineman in a direction he chooses to go, like Dillon.

What's your best guess as to his speed????

Hunt was a force against Ohio State and Michigan, even when the rest of his team seemed to give up. He's an NFL rb. He'll probably run a 4.65 but who cares? He has balance, heart, and durability, all of which are more important in the NFL than long speed.

at 239, he is a pounder.... If for some reason Dillon retires because of health issues, I think Hunt would be a good pick.

quick first step?

quick first step?

I wouldnt say he has a quick first step, but what most impresses me is that when he finds a hole, he hits it fast. Very fast for a guy his size. Not too unlike Dillon.

i jus recently started lookin at these guys
and i too like both hunt and leonard
ive heard some ppl actually have hunt listed ahead of leonard
anyone else agree with that?
im not so sure
