I didn't hear what was said as far as poor tast and S.Irwin But as far as talk radio goes I remember E.Andleman on weei wasting 2-3 hours on such subjects as toll both workers,or his latest trip to Las Vagus. Which had nothing to do with sports.SVN said:and they are making a mockery of the whole steve erwin death incident. pathetic. that guy did what he had to do in his life and it happened. this is a limit i thought i would never hear on a sports show.
SaCaCh said:nothing really new, just more Felger putting down the Pats and saying Branch has a chance, and Tomase of all people calling up saying he talked to the Lawyer and say he didn't think Branch had a chance. But of course Felger still goes along his line and says Branch has a chance. Now Felger is saying the League will step in and make the Pats trade Branch.
belichickaholic said:Felger just said that Borges' hatred of Belichick is "refreshing" and that's why he has him on his show. WTF!!!
I don't mind opposing viewpoints, but that's not what you get with Borges. Refreshing??????
basically he said that if you play with dangerous animals then you are going to die. and he is saying this about the person who died doing what he wanted. i dont understand why make that statement when everyone knows what their jobs entails and are entitled to do what they want? if he cant offer condolences then he shouldnt give career advice to a person who lost his life.reflexblue said:I didn't hear what was said as far as poor tast and S.Irwin But as far as talk radio goes I remember E.Andleman on weei wasting 2-3 hours on such subjects as toll both workers,or his latest trip to Las Vagus. Don't be so sure. Felger is sticking by Wendy Nix's initial report, because he trusts her "feminine instincts." :rowlize: :roal-ayes: :roelize:NE39 said:It's kind of hard to do anything but back off that report considering he practiced today in full pads.
Apparently some people not only listen but take the time to email him.Sundayjack said:Man, this show is dreadful. I've emailed the guy twice now for egregrious factual errors (which he SCREAMS).
Do people actually listen to this regularly?

The best way to hurt a mediot is by ignoring him. Don't watch, don't listen, don't read him, don't write to him. Managers evaluate personalities on the basis of how much attention they generate, and negative reaction counts as attention.Bostonian1962 said:What's his email address? I want to rip him good.
That comes through pretty clear. Little comments here and there. There's not a doubt that he's trying to pick up listeners by being objectionable.Bostonian1962 said:Somebody told me he is relishing being hated. . . . .

Sundayjack said:And, I agree - that Steve Irwin stuff was over the top. I'm 39 years old, and I can't explain how or why, but for some reason his death was upsetting to me. I wasn't real keen about Felger continuing to make a joke out of it.
