I really like this dude. I'd love for him to come over as a DC if Patricia leaves and he gets fired. That said, I think I'd give him another year in NY with an actual QB and some semblance of a plan in place.

That's no joke. The Jets are the joke. Hard to imagine the stress of dealing hands-on with all that suckage day in and day out.

I hope Coach Bowles is okay and listens to his doctors. Coaches are like players in that they don't want someone else to do the job better than them.

I imagine the stability of the NE franchise has added years to BB's coaching lifespan.

Whoa! I've been tough on Todd Bowles but never wished he'd have a health problem. My thoughts are with him and his family and that he gets back to coaching as soon as possible.

At least Adam Scefter didn't tweet any " inside information" this time that is HIPAA protected ..or did he?
Wishing Bowles a speedy recovery but I doubt any independent ( read non Jets employee) physician would clear him. Usually they tell you to take it easy for a few days. Coaching an NFL team is the antithesis of that..... Coaching thee Jets would give anybody agita....

Looks like the doc says he did not have a heart attack but a panic disorder episode or anxiety attack. Good news.

With that team the poor guy has to be a emotional wreck
