Today's practice absentees - not great.

They should cut Haynesworth. Waste of a roster spot. Nobody else a surprise. Was hoping for Hernandez, but not holding my breath.

I disagree.

A healthy Haynesworth could make a below average D a very good D.

Thank goodness they drafted Solder. The kid has more than held is own.

I LAUGHED at the doubters

Guys, do I sound like a homer? Read below and tell me I am crazy(911 inside job) crazy.

Does anyone think the coaches are holding a lot of things back? I have looked around the league and there is no other team with so many unknowns like us.
Haynesworth I hear could have played last week, but he has been shut down. Ocho can play, but so far he is yanked out during second half of games. I doubt is is just because he does not know the playbook.
So basically, I am saying we are playing rope-a-dope with the league. Offense defense.

Bill Belichick doesn't strike me as the sort to do anything that would harm his team's chances of winning let alone something as ridiculous as handicapping his own team.

Every game counts in this league, you lose one because you were trying to shield your team's full potential from the rest of the league and you may miss the playoffs.

I don't get worried about players being missing on Wednesday. Belichick has historically given players Wednesday practices off to heal. Randy Moss got Wednesday off almost every week his last two years here.

I will wait until tomorrow's practice report before getting worried.

Not going to lie, but I was like meh. I wanted a front 7 defender though I had no idea who that person was.

I posted in some thread that Edelman was seen walking w/ a BOOT on his leg.

This is getting to be too much people.

First Brady cuts his hair.
Then what happens? Edelperson cuts his locks.

Next. Brady is the spokeswoman for Uggs boots.
Edelperson is seen walking around with a boot.

This HAS to stop!!!

This isn't bad at all for Wednesday. I think that this is the best injury report in weeks; no surprises.

There is not ONE player on the list who I would have expected to see at practice. And also, some were there who might not have been.

DEFENSE - LINE
It is concerning that Wright and Haynsworth are out. I expect that Wright will be put on IR and Haynsworth won't be available until after the break. Cohen will continue to be available. Brace and Deaderick will be available. Decisions will be made during the bye. I expect that someone will be added to replace Wright, and that we will wait for Haynsworth. I'm fine with him being fresh for later in the season.

DEFENSE - LINEBACKERS
We knew that Mayo was out. It is good that Spikes, Guyton and Fletcher have receovered from their past injuries.

DEFENSE - SECONDARY
EVERYONE PRACTICED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OFFENSE
Vollmer continues to be a concern. However, the OL is looking fine in his absence.

Edelman and Woodhead are the new additions. I expect that they are day-to-day. If they are out, then Price and Vareen might get reps. In any case, we are fine for a couple of games without these two. Ridley already got additional reps this last Sunday because of Woodhead's injury.

Hernandez could surprise, but his return after the bye would be fine with me.

Why? Because he's been injured?

No, because he (Haynesworth)'s not trying to get on the field. A friend of a friend said he was boating on Lake Winnipesaukee at the same time the Pats were losing to the Bills. And before you flame me about my (admittedly) unsubstantiated report, let me say this is my opinion only. You don't have to agree with me or believe the report.

We can verify this.
Any reports of unusually high water levels on the lake 2 weeks ago?

I'd review ken's report from PFW.

Just say'in.

Why is going boating during a game you aren't able to play in a bad thing?

Football players are allowed to have a life. Hell, if I wasn't well enough to do my job but I could go boating I'd do it too. That shi'ts fun.

Vuudu you have the dope part right. Hey if all the vets sit out, how come Welker, Brady, Carter and the rest of the vets practiced? I have never seen more pathetic excuses in all my life. Guys I hate to break the news to you but HAYNESWORTH SUX. He was an embarrassement for 3 seasons in Washington. He puts on a blue shirt and now he's something. He is nothing, he is useless, and he is a waste of a roster spot and should be cut immediately. But hey we didn't need to draft a DT, not with the FAT PIG. Detach your lips from Belichick's butt and realize that this clown made the Kraft's look like fools for doing a PR Campaign on this pig. A dog is a dog is a dog. And this guy is the biggest dog.

I would not be surprised if the doctors told him that he will not be back until at least Game & (after the bye). If Haynsworth is off boating when his rehab schedule calls for him to elsewhere, do you think that Belichick is such a wimp that he would act to deal with such insubordination?

Your post is an indictment of Belichick much more than Haynsworth.

For me, I trust the team doctors and the rehab schedule decided by the team. I understand that most here would have preferred that Haynsworth be at a bar with a bunch of buddies all day instead of boating.

Because you are supposedly suffering from a bad back and bouncing around on a speed boat isn't going to do you any favors. Plus, how about watching the game and/or the team who is giving you your, what is it now, 3rd? 4th? 5th? chance to resurrect your career and/or your reputation? Yeah, yeah, I know, he'll be watching the more informative game film all week. Sorry. I for one (and maybe I'm the only one) have soured on the Haynesworth signing.

Hernandez is NOT going to be playing in this game

I don't expect him to be back on board until after the bye week

Too soon for this type of injury and Belichick is not dumb enough to sacrifice him for a few games this early in the season

LOL. And yes, to the poster above. I would prefer him at a bar all day with his buddies. At least then you know he's supporting the team.

you aren't alone in that group( I see many others in your boat). I am all for Brady First. Brady's O-Line is his primary defense vs. the attacking defenses. I thought Solder had the most upside of all the OT's. The Cowboy guy from USC is a Legit talent but has he done more than Solder as in terms of being a HUGE HELP on the line? I can't see any Rookie O-Lineman in this draft class that has accomplished more than Nate Solder.

As much as I love my man Solder... I do want Vollmer back. Who can say they have 2 Extremely talented and dependable RT's??? Sick Swing men

Does th Taylor Price and Vereen Era begin on Sunday???

It'll suk w/o Hernandez since the JESTS r AWFUL against TE's

I unfourtunately see Gronk blocking 35% (like in Oakland) of his snaps compared to his usual 10-20% blocking snap %age/

BTW:
Haynesworth is a lazy slob who I am almost certain is prolonging this injury as long as he can

I am not surprised that he is not playing...this was his gimmick in Washington that either he was playing at less than his potential or he was not on the field at all

Yeah,I know the homers are expecting to say I am no doctor and Haynesworth is actually injured and can't play but face the facts...this is a slob who was not good enough for Shanahan and he is a bum...plain ands simple...

It doesn't matter whether he is wearing the Flying Elvis or a Redskin uniform....take off the skin and the same lazy animal is underneath.

For those who think he is going to be a factor when the winter comes and will be the pass rusher we thought he was?....well I have some swampland in the Poconos to sell to you

when you don't do **** for a couple of years you gotta figure his conditioning and strength are subpar for what he is capable of.

So Love made practice that is a good sign
