Huh, I recall being unimpressed with Bolden's blocking. :confused2:

I'll grant you that I don't know his history as a receiver. I was just going by my eyes on the couple of plays I remember, where I thought he looked uncomfortable catching the ball.

BTW, on pass protection...I suspect that might have been what did Washington in. Made me appreciate Woodhead!

I agree with this. So far from what I've seen Bolden looks more comfortable catching the ball than Ridley does, but as you said it's a small sample size.

Either way, I wouldn't be comfortable with either of them taking on Vereen's 3rd down role if he's out.

Lot's of double dipping this year. Not with position, but with schools. Obviously there's the Rutgers thing, but we've signed two Cincinnati udfas, two from Maryland and two from Nevada. I don't even know if it's rare, but I just thought it interesting.

We should remember that Belichick uses these signings as tryouts. I see Francis as a keeper. We'll see about the rest.
