I actually meant the last year. Addai is more of a red zone option than Maroney so he should get more TDs. Before Morris went down last year, he was the red zone back.

Even so, Addai is one of the most overrated players in the NFL. He has sucked since he played the Pats in November last year. Look at his number since he played the Pats. They are abismal.

Still has more td's than Maroney. Addai is more of a goal line option because he can punch it in, unlike the tapo dancer.

I don't understand the purpose of this post. Do you feel the detractors are wrong about the Chiefs?

I am saying that maybe they aren't as bad as people annointed them or maybe the Broncos aren't as good as they have been annointed or maybe a really bad team can sneak up on and dominate a really good team every once and while.

That's about all Addai can do. Sice he played the Pats last year with Addai, if you need two yards, he'll give you two yards. if you need 5 yards, Addai will give you two yards.

Right, but my point is he is better than the guy you are defending.

I second points 1 & 2, and appreciate being enlightened by point 3.

I don't think Miguel was including prorated signing bonus in his response... of course if one's trying to assess whether someone's overpaid you'd want to include that.

It still doesn't change my opinion of Seymour though. As of now I'd want to see him kept through the majority of his contract.

He didn't because it's owed the prorated bonus & cap hit whether he's here or not. Miguel was saying that the cost of having Sey play vs not was his salary, which is certainly reasonable for his position and play, even if you think he's not top notch.

A tear comes to my eye as I realize that someone has been paying attention

I just don't understand how to discount the loss of Brady. There is no way that I can confidently dismiss the sky is falling members of this board. Losing Brady was HUGE, not having a, thus far, proven back up is HUGE. I hope (the Cassel bashers) are wrong, but I'm not about to professs indignance when history shows that a team losing its' starting quarterback (let alone a Brady) is extremely harmful to its' success.

What Brady has to do with Sey's play is an awful lot, if the defense is tired Brady can manage the clock better than most other people which keeps guys like Sey fresh. There is also a huge confidence issue with the whole team not just offense it always happens in sports when someone key is lost by a team. looks at SD without Merriman. In other sports it happens too in soccer Newcastle united have gone into self destruct without manager Kevin Keegan. The team will be down after that loss to miami and lack confidence going in to our week 5 match up.
