I'm not surprised. Belichick got Ryan with a late pick to come in and play a couple years and then likely move on to the free agency ocean.

I sort of pegged him as a guy with a high floor and unknown ceiling who would play a role for us for a few years and be gone. But we make good use out of those type players, witness Dexter Reid, Klecko, ect.

A role player.

I hope he is okay! He has already suffered a lot to play football and you have to admire that in him.

Even stranger was that in yesterday's fumble-fest, he didn't fumble at all. You'd think he would have.

That's why fumbles are so disheartening -- you can't control them.
