• Situational football - players and coaching
  
• It doesn't matter who you are or where you came from, if you perform, you play (Mr. Butler!)
• Winning teams aren't built as a collection of superstars, they are built as the integration of players who fill roles with dedication and excellence
  
• Don't overpay for celebrity players; pay based on real value of the player and the position
• Humility - whenever a single player is highlighted, the focus is shifted to the team
• Consistency in attitude throughout the organization, from Kraft down throughout the administration (this is a lot harder to do than most people realize)
