That's now, in the lead up to the draft I argued at length with people who wanted then to trade out of the pick. Now there is no amount of picks or players that could get him.

Either way they offered 3 first and the Giants offered 2 to move up 3 spots, those are good offers and Wolf was smart to turn them down. He's taken a ton of **** for that draft, and rightfully so, he should at least get credit for making the right move at QB,

What's the upside for him? You would have thought he learned from the Denver experience, but his time in LV was a worse disaster. He is despised in LV.

You would think it would be a better gig to be considered "the" or one of the best OCs in the league for what is poised to be a franchise that could be on another dynastic run.

How many rings does he currently have? I'd venture he could be in the running for most Super Bowl rings of any coordinator in history.

He's at 6 rings but not all O.C. obviously.

Williams is having a fine year. Both Nix and Williams are statistically very similar, and their teams are winning. Nix does have 4 more INTs, but my problem with Nix is some inaccuracy.

I don't think Nix is a headier QB than Daniels. Daniels makes much better reads and processes much faster than Nix. I think Nix has shown some problems when it comes to making the right reads.

As for Daniels and injuries, I'd say his leg injury was a freak play. Given the players we've seen at QB with slight frames, I don't know why we're projecting that he's going to be injured frequently. He also weighs 210 pounds (supposedly). It's on the light side, but plenty of QBs have weighed that much. He'll likely gain weight as the years go by as well.

Daniels is a twig. Sorry.

If you are a Denver fan are you thrilled with Nix as your franchise QB, or are you hoping you pick up a more talented QB somewhere who emerges?

I wasn't a fan of any of those picks, but I still think their teams need to try and develop them. I think that one of the biggest issues in the NFL is the expectations of fans and owners that are unwilling to give young players the time to develop. The pressure is on the coaches and prospects to deliver immediately or find another job. It's idiotic. The leap from college to the pro's is huge, and it's either prosper or you are a bust. We see it in this forum all the time, with posters ****ting all over young players that are just starting out in their careers because they haven't lived up to their expectations the first half of their rookie season. It's ignorant and short sighted. Unless you want your team to draft high floor low ceiling prospects who are " pro ready" you need to realize that it takes time for these kids to learn pro offenses, and get in pro shape, ready to play 17 game seasons. Bradyn Swinson was talking about this when they moved to the active roster, he said they had brought him in and told him he was doing everything wrong. From nutrition to working out to game preparation he needed to learn how to become a pro football player, and he stayed with the Patriots and turned down other offers because he believed he was in the right place to learn how to become a pro player. IMO this is true the vast majority of prospects entering the NFL. They are coming out of college with no idea of what's required to prospect the next level, in every area, and the teams they go to need to understand this and how to have a program to develop them into good pro players. Vrabel understands this and has a program geared to do just this, develop the young players they bring in and turn them into good pro players, I believe will see the results of this approach turn them into a long term contender, with high rates of success from their draft classes.
