Rodgers first season in GB... 6-10. And the Pats with the GOAT but few weapons. I hope for, but don't expect playoffs. Just looking for progression from Mac, and for some good games.

I just hate how anemic the offense is. Apparently, Mac has control of the plays at the line of scrimmage, so is he just not willing to push the ball down the field?

Pats fans act like Brady used to throw short all the time, but if you go back and watch tape from the 2001 and 2002 seasons, he had no problem pushing it down field.

Our offense has very little big play potential, and our run defense is bad. And our schedule has times like Carolina, Tennessee, Cleveland, etc. that can easily exploit the bad run defense. And our offense is not explosive enough to really do anything about it. All we do is get short completions and decent runs, but then we stall.

That's why this team doesn't even look like a 7 win team to me. I have them pegged at no more than 6.

I think the biggest problem with the offense is the offensive line. We can't get much of a run game going, and Mac doesn't have much time on many plays. We also seem to commit penalties constantly, especially offensive holding, that kills our drives. When you factor in those things and the fact that Mac is also a rookie with 4 games experience, you get a subpar offense so far. It's hard to basically ask a rookie to carry the offense on his back.
