Did anyone else get a little choked up by the support BB received from his players and the fans? I know that I did.

Yes, I did. I also smiled at some of the signs and especially the fan with the cardboard camera on his head. There was some funny stuff last night.

But the best was after the game ended with the players.

The best moment for me was watching the players with Bill at the end of the game. Definate choke up moment. I couldn't be prouder of our players and team.

In his post-game press conference Tommy said he hoped the fans understand how luck we are to have BB. Answer: yes we do.

Now I can't wait for the thousands of articles charging that we fans don't care if BB cheated, all we care about is winning. This will be good because it will ignore the fact that most of us feel they were wrong to disregard a league rule but that we still support the team.

Nice piece by Jackie MacMullan (who takes a lot of bashing around here). I particularly like the ending:

The Patriots are 2-0. They destroyed the team many felt would challenge them for a berth in the Super Bowl. They shattered the theory their success is predicated on stolen signals.
