It should have been offensive pass interfere, the other WR was two yards downfield and blocked before the ball was caught.

The contact was initiated exactly 1 yard away from the LOS.



That's the moment the ball leaves Ryan's hands and contact is about to be initiated. You might disagree but I prefer the refs to only call that in egregious cases as long as it is being done consistently.

The issue on this play really was Sherman's positioning and whatever LB got sucked into the box.
