I got banned on jetsinsider for calling
Mangini rainman and for their anti-semetic comments toward Bob Kraft.

Did you see the Kraft interview...he's so upset with Belichick's actions, he's punishing him with a contract renewal through 2013.

So much for the retirement theory.

My guess is Beli will stay in the division until Mangini retires or is fired.

This incident will pave the way for BB and Kraft to put even greater focus on winning more SB's with strongest fielded teams, just to stick it to everyone.

Based on what I read, the extension was agreed to before the issue with the videotape came out during the Jets game last week. So unless they went back and changed the terms of the agreement afterwards (which I doubt), I don't know that his original intention was to accomplish more than locking up the best coach in the league for another six years or so.
