He may still call a good game, and he is hitting better than last year.
If you want to get excited about his 231 avg.

This season age just may be catching up with Tek in the field.

The word on Tek and Run..... Run.... Run.....

He has only caught 13 of 86 base stealers this season.
The last 14 have all been successful.

They don't just run their top base stealer against Tek.
They run everyone... catchers.... firstbaseman.... even Oprah could
steal a base on Tek this season.

Stats don't lie.

Your right.... but I had to make my Tek post for July.
His arm was never great, but he did have a career 23.5 CS%
which is below average.

This year he is at 15% and dropping fast.
He has allowed 13 more base stealers than any other catcher.

Tek may have a lot of threads, but I doubt he will catch Julio Lugo.
