I would like to restate this:
No playoff team from last year has signed anybody new since free agency opened. The only teams that have added anybody that I know of are the 49ers (Moss, Cox) and Falcons (Tatupu). None of those 3 were in the NFL last year. So don't freak out. It's exactly the same for all 11 other playoff teams. It's almost like they realize that it's the smart thing to do.

Of course, Denver's pulling out all the stops to get a new QB, and

Per NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora, the Saints are “making a push” to sign free agent Ben Grubbs. Nicks is the top offensive guard on the market. Grubbs is No. 2. Both players have been left guards throughout their careers, so the transition would likely be natural for Grubbs to go to the Saints.

and ignoring the likes of Moss, Cox and Tatupu is really just fudging the start date. While not all teams have jumped into the free agency pool, even playoff teams have been signing, or trying to sign, new players.

Alrighty then. I guess if the media isn't writing about it, then it isn't happening.

I get your point and I think it's way to early for people to be heading for tall buildings (unfortunately, in some cases), but this isn't about playoff teams and non-playoff teams.

Morning guys! Just got the little one off to school and figured I would check patsfans.

So,.... has the world come to an end yet?

... So,.... has the world come to an end yet?

Looks like some fans were upset by the inactivity last night.

Luckily quick thinking by public safety folks kept the damage to a minimum. They "shut the power down" in some neighborhoods, but we all know it was really just a move to isolate despondent fans from obsessive media watching.

Would it be wrong to say who cares about the other 31 teams? 0 of the 31 have a 35 year old top 3 all time QB who badly needs to win. Not including Peyton who has no team yet.

We can get a Wallace in the draft ...........

We can? Great! What's his name?

while we're at it, let's add another Willie too.

So who is the new Willie?

Nick Perry

Not sure. He was not at the Combine but he looks good on the field.

and Tommy Streeter

Streeter put up a 4.4 40, which is fast, but not Mike Wallace fast. Only started one year at Miami. Not a bad player, but let's not put him in the Pro Bowl yet.

and Harrison Smith

Smith is not projected to go in the first round, so he might be available. The lack of quality FA safeties might raise his draft stock.

HA HA HAHAHAHAHAH....

Love it!
I especially like how the bike messenger zombie still has his earbuds on...lol

And unlike the other zombified individuals, he has obviously flipped the script on his fast paced lifestyle, and gone all "Meh, who gives a crap" in his afterlife...lol
:rocker:

Carl Nicks will sign 5years 47.5 mil deal with the bucs after physical

I can't believe some of the money being thrown around, especially for WRs.

Twitter

Tampa Bay reached agreement with former Saints guard Carl Nicks on a five-year, $47.5 million deal including $31 million guaranteed.

31 million guaranteed, wow..

And, suddenly, Mankins becomes an amazing bargain...

It also shows the poor business judgement and lacking financial prudence of those attempting to climb the mountain.

At least the Glazers can't be accused of sitting on their money like they did last year.

Maybe they have to overpay just to get guy to go to Tampa.
