Be aggressive and trade picks?

Bears traded a bunch of picks to the Broncos for Jay Cutler and which team was in the playoffs last year?
you mean the year the both Cutler and Forte went down?
Saints did that to get Ricky Williams... how did that work out?
not too well.
Falcons did that last year and picked Julio Jones and failed too make the playoffs...
wrong again.
Vikings traded everything for Hershel Walker... Cowboys ended up with all the rings though...
another failed instance
Be smart. Use the draft to get youth, talent and depth.

why don't people understand their are multiple ways to win in the NFL?
You failed to mention the eli manning trade, bill wash trading up to get Jerry rice, cowboys traded up for Tony Dorsett.

As far as draft picks it still seems like the Hershel Walker trade. The Rams will have high picks for years to come and the Redskins will have diddley squat. The difference this time is that the Redskins could fill in the void through FAs but we all know how Synder has done with FAs and he has cap issues.

The Redskins got screwed and will be the laughing stock of the league for years to come. This is a Good Thing. I was starting to worry that the league was running out of buffoon owners after Al Davis died but Synder came through again. And add Irsay to the list of meddling buffoon owners.

not debating that as of now, but that could change. Im talking more in regards to a move BB might make.

One crucial pice you seem to be missing is that RGIII might in fact be the real deal. I can almost guarantee that for the next three years, the Redskins pick will be after the Rams own pick. RGIII > Sam Bradford and that will be all that matters in the long term.
