In all seriousness who are all these recent rookie QB's who started too early, got the **** kicked out of them and were basically done? Can you name a few? Personally think this might be a localised issue in the Foxborough area.

So what exactly is your plan if and when the offensive line stinks next year? Sit Maye again?
FYI I of all the Rookie QB's J Daniels was the one I really really really like in the Draft.
Because a blind man knew Daniels wasn't getting by Washington.********. I was making the case to take Daniel’s if he was there from the beginning of the process, and at no point did you ever weigh in favoring it. You wanted them to trade the pick, and now you are making **** up.
Isn't that more of a bad team + QB not being ready (or good enough in the first place)? I'm ok with someone saying Drake isn't ready. I think it's harder to sell fans the "he'll get killed" option without making the Pats look like a clueless expansion team.Sam Darnold, Zach Wilson, Bryce Young, Josh Rosen , that’s just a few. Anyone who thinks sending a rookie out behind this OL is a good idea is crazy.
No I'm just more innovative than AVP.You suffer from magical thinking.
Still will be better able to judge next year, there were huge overassessments this year.. hopefully next year they will be a tad more realistic. They chose to buy low on the OLine. They made very little effort at all. But when they did, they decided they would shop the garage heap. Impressive. Nothing difficult about that.
The minute Drake MAye goes in there our Offense including O-Line is fixed. no Defense Fears Brissette he handicaps a Team.

Dude... who was the QB? Your right it was Jake plummer. Yes that's right he was the QB..
I think the plan is to have him sit, regardless of the OL issues. Packers sat Love, before him Rodgers sat. Favre was on year 2 of his deal if you wanna go in the way back machine. I believe they could have the Dallas Cowboys line from the 90s or even the Raiders from the 70s and Maye would be sitting. I believe it's the plan.If the Pats put Maye out there before he is ready and/or the o-line is such a shambles that it could cause him to regress, the Pats are a bad team. With the o-line issues the Pats had, it would be the act of a desperate coach to rush Maye out there. Mayo is smart to stick to the game plan and not rush him out there.
But many good to great QBs sat their first year - Mahomes, Rivers, Carson Palmer (who was a rising star until he tore his ACL in a time before ACL tears weren't career threatening), Jordan Love, Rodgers, etc.
They got the W that's all that mattered. That was the only point I was trying to make... glad you kept stats..ah yes, his 12-25 night for 60 yards at a whopping 2.4 YPC avg, with his stellar 36.7QBR was the reason the broncos beat the jets
I can't definitely see why they'd want him to sit.. he's behind all pro Brissett..I think the plan is to have him sit, regardless of the OL issues. Packers sat Love, before him Rodgers sat. I don't believe that matters. Not even a little bit. I don't think Maye is under glass with a sign that says "break if 1-4" underneath. He's there to learn and study. They want him to be 100% ready, even if 75% ready is better than Brissett. Everything said about his time table is BS.I can't definitely see why they'd want him to sit.. he's behind all pro Brissett..
Well unless we are talking about a Vegas girl on the strip... you wouldn't kick her out of bed would you?.. LOLAre people forgetting it’s the 4th game of his virgin yea as a coach…as much as it blows/sucks/is at times unwatchable/unbearable….its going to take time. Embrace the suck.

Ok I hear you. So the conflicting things are this. Washington, Denver Chicago all teams like is us a reset with rookie QBs.. Chicago i can understand becuase they have guys around Williams. I just believe they didn't expect Drake to be this ready this soon.. having a **** O line is allowing them to stick to the plan.I don't believe that matters. Not even a little bit.
