The Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule

At least the Broncos defense can stop you from time to time. Of those three teams, the Broncos has the best defense hands down.

They gave up 24 points to our practice squad. That's embarrassing for them. It doesn't really matter to me where Denver's defense is ranked, because we match up extremely well against them.

We do. We also match up better on that sorry excuse for a defense Pittsburgh runs out there.

I'm not saying Denver's defense is world-beating, far from it. But at least they can put up some resistance.

I'm not saying we should be scared of Pittsburgh. I just see them giving us a closer game than Denver or Cincy. Osweiler has 0 playoff experience and Dalton's playoff experience consists of 4 one and done's. Big Ben has the experience and the weapons to give us a better fight.

You can't extrapolate too much from week 1, because it was very early in the season and they didn't have Martavis Bryant who has been playing exceptionally well.

Again, I'm not scared of the Steelers, but they have the more complete team and they have the potential to give us a closer game than either Denver or Cincy.

And I just disagree. That Steelers defense, especially pass defense, is straight-up terrible.

Yup....that deep ball....how do you defend that jesus

He will break up the catch attempts

agreed. which is funny because i think they're the scariest afc team but ill be rooting for them

Agreed. Setting aside regard for home/away, Pittsburgh is the team that most scares me in the AFC, followed by Cincy.

Finally someone who has their eyes opened! The Steelers D is downright crap. Russell Wilson threw for 375 yards and 5 tds on it. It is nothing special. Their offense is very good but teams with elite wide receivers don't win superbowls anymore. Pats D will do a better job than the Steelers D. Belicheck knows how to gameplan unlike that moron Tomlin.

(Steelers beat --> Bengals beat --> Denver) + Pats win out = #1 seed

LOL our passing offense and pass defense are both terrifying...for entirely different reasons. Clearly we need to work AB in at corner, a la Troy Brown back in the day.

I'll tell you what: you guys take care of some of our WC competition in weeks 13 and 15, and we'll upset the AFC apple cart with at least a split against Cincy and Denver...deal?

They're so terrible that they're somehow the 7th rated overall defense in points allowed? They're actually 3 spots ahead of us (10th).

Yeah, sure, it won't be a problem at all if New England wins out the rest of the way. I agree.

That may be a tall order, however. I think 3-1 is entirely reasonable, but 4-0 may be difficult. We'll see.

Ive never had an issue with Pittsburgh. They are a well run franchise like the Pats and I respect that.

Rooting for them to help us is easy for me, but rooting against them if we play them again would be even easier

They play both Denver and Cincy the next couple weeks.

We may just have to go for them to get on a roll and win both to help our seeding cause.
I dont like Steelers in playoff.
I saw their game against Seattle. LB Shazier was out, huge boost for Seattle offense but Steelers srew themselves with 2INT that lead to TD. Big Ben was on fire. Even if Brown was covered by Sherman and the refs( Sherman was nonstop holding him) he made plays on Bryant and then on Wheaton. I dont think that we are capable to stop that offense. Maybe Butler could stop Brown, but Bryant is too fast for Logan Ryan or lets say Ryan puts A+ game on Bryant they still have Wheaton. Their run game is legit.
So I rather have game in Cincy or in Denver than Steelers at Gillette.

I agree. I think both Cincy and Denver drop at least one more maybe two for one of them. If PIT beats Cincy, then we go ahead of them I think. If Cincy beats DEN then we also jump ahead as long as we win out. The only game left of concern is the Jets but hopefully Gronk is back for that one. I just can't see losing to Texans but then again never expected last night's debacle.

Haha, Baldi just said PIT beats both Cincy and DEN, and Cincy drops one more. PATS run the table:

#1 Seed: Pats (Foxboro Baby!)
#2 Seed: DEN
#3 Seed: Cincy

May the Football Gods hear ya Baldi!

Baldi also said with or without Gronk, Pats win out. I think Baldi is a patsfan.
