The Patriots And Cardinals Are Now The Overwhelming Favorites To Reach The Super Bowl

I think AZ's schedule has been very favorable for them.

I also think that Stanton and their running game are liabilities.

I can't believe the Packers are listed at 8% while the Cardinals are at 19%.

Yes, the game will probably be in Arizona. But it's Drew Stanton vs. Aaron Rodgers.

Has any championship caliber team been able to maintain its path to the SB when losing its starting QB? That sounds preposterous.
Oh, wait...

And not just Brady either. Bradshaw, Staubach, Earl Morrall, and quite a few others ended up winning SBs after not being the starter at the season's beginning.

I don't think the cardinals have what it take to make a Super Bowl. Don't get me wrong they are a good team but I think there schedule has a little easy I can see then makeing the NFC championship game but that's about it. I think there are better teams in the NFC then the cardinals.

Cardinals favourites to make it to the Superbowl with Stanton and the Superbowl hosting curse? Hah! I think not!

True enough, but those were promising young QBs getting their first opportunities -- not a 7th-year player with his 3rd team who has never impressed. Stanton may yet "Trent Dilfer it" in an NFC with a lot of flawed contenders, but I don't expect him to be a big story in himself.

Two words: Jeff Hostetler.

Uh....Morrall was with his 5th team, the Colts, in his 15th year in the league when he won the Super Bowl. Two years prior, he replaced an injured Unitas and lost the Super Bowl to the Namath Jets. He was the league MVP for his job of replacing Unitas though. Most famous play in SB3 was Morrall not seeing a wide open Jimmy Orr for a TD that would have changed the game.

There is still a long ways to go.

I still can't get behind AZ, even with Carson Palmer.

That team just does nothing to impress me. You expect something to flash at you when you look at SB contending teams and they just don't do it.

Still sticking with NE-GB like I have since preseason and feeling better about every week.

i hate this thread.

liked it better when we were flying under the radar..
