It takes a special situation for me to root for "that" team. I'll play it by ear each time I guess, at least there will be a small upside for as many as 4 possible Colts' wins this year.

I fail to see the connection. Are you saying that the Patriots have weakened the Titans and Jags by taking their second round picks in 2010. But they get extra picks in 2008. The Colts are a team dependent on several super-stars. Their Defense is a joke. It only works because their Offense is so dominant. But it is wearing down, Harrsion is goen and Peytom si 35 now, and overall no longer better than the Patriots Offense. Meanwhile the Pats also have a dominant Defense, abuilding. I kno wit not fashionable to admit that; but half re-constructed, It was already in the Top Ten or Top Eight, and it is going to get even better.

Then I'm rooting for a massive case of explosive hershey squirts to run rampant through both locker rooms.

Rooting for the Colts.

Last years week 17 was painful not just because we missed the playoffs but because we had to root for the Jets.

Looking at this years schedule, with the Colts playing the AFCE and the two 2nd round picks of Tenn and Jax. We are going to have to root for the Colts during 7 different games. Ugh!

Unless the Pats and/or Colts are eliminated fom playoff contention, I will always root for the current season and not future draft picks.
