Belichick's modus operandi is doing what is best for the team. Incurring a $10 million cap hit in order to trade away the best player in the league to retain a backup QB who scored 11 less points a game with the same weapons against a weaker schedule yet who will make nearly the same amount of money and would yield only slightly less bounty in a trade is completely stupid and not in the best interest of the team.

I though Thigpen was ok as a temporary starter but there's no way you build a future around him. With the Chiefs picking 3rd in this year's draft, several mocks have them taking Sam Bradford. There will be several high-end pass rushers and offensive linemen available to them at that spot, could they be a mover for Brady, should he be available for Brady?

Belichick already told Scott that he'll get back to him in 2014 on that one. Brady isn't getting traded. If Belichick thinks that Brady is damaged goods enough to even consider trading, then Pioli would know the same info and would never trade anything close to value for him. No way would Pioli give up the third pick in the draft for him.

Stop with the trade Brady crap. It ain't happening.
