In his defense, he has been thrown right into the fire, along with Jones because of the injuries to our DL.
Technique-wise they aren't anywhere near being refined (being rookies) and continually lose leverage or get run out of the play by choosing bad angles or filling the wrong holes.
Glad to see Boyce in there returning the kick return. He has some speed and was interesting to watch in the preseason. I hope he plays a few plays on offense; I'm interested to see what he can do.
And that's the kind of routine play that Edelman doesn't make often enough. He is extremely clutch and makes some amazing plays, but it's the routine play that he doesn't make sometimes that drives me a little crazy.
