Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Texans game thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Since I don't see a separate "other games" thread -- Pollard picks off Luck. (Not a pick 6, but Colts' slow starts continue.)

Also from Red Zone: Foles has 17 TD and 0 picks.

The run D has to be a concern as we head for playoff time. I just don't know what can be done about it. Injuries have depleted the interior.

It is the opening drive. The Pats always play soft and vanilla on the opening drive to see what the opposing offense's gameplan is.

And throw last week out the window. The Pats dared the Broncos to run being exclusively in subpackages and sometimes only have two down linemen. The Broncos ran because the Pats gave it to them.

Defense playing soft, on the road.... as usual....

Nice field.

Wow, we look great on both side of the ball...

Man that HOU front is aggressive and fast.

Our running backs drive me crazy. Keep going forward. No cute stuff

Need a good road showing today

Nah, there's definitely more to it than that. This has been going on since about Week 4 or so. Go back and watch the games. I respect your opinion, though.

hmmmm, 3 and out, not what I expected to start the game.

Another bomb on 3 and relatively short. It just seems to be a low percentage play

Slater is in a zone. Some guys just figure out their position and they master it. He's in a league of his own on ST I love watching him play as much as I love watching the skill guys.

Houston is doing a better job of tackling Houston than New England is

Their run defense isn't very good. I don't know if it is the liability that people make it out to be though.

I've never understood fair catching punts inside the 10. The Patriots are off to an embarrassing start.

We have the worst 3rd down playcalling.

I hate saying it but I realize this every game.
