Please post your comments, knee jerk reactions, and insightful observations prior to and during today's AFC Championship Game between the Patriots and Ravens.

Game time is scheduled for 6:30 PM. Lets hope they kickoff by 6:35 or my head will explode.

Mike Reiss reports that it is very windy right now at Gillette. But no one knows what it will be during the game.

Let's hope for a good game with no injuries and Patriots victory and on to the Super Bowl!!

Welcome to Gillette Stadium - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

Wind could be a factor. The current temperature is an unseasonably warm 54 degrees, but current winds are sustained around 25 miles per hour, and gusting up to 40 m.p.h. The forecast calls for those winds to dissipate slightly by kickoff, but they could still be strong enough to play a role in the kicking game. Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to drop considerably, into the mid-to-low 30s as the game progresses. There is no precipitation in the forecast, and any clouds are expected to clear out by game time.

Don't know why but this the most confident I've felt before a playoff game in years.

I am so anxious for this game to start! I'm not even really interested in this San Francisco game.

I don't know why, but I expect a big game for the Patriots running the ball.

My stomach is in knots...I am just hoping for a great game and a big W

All psyched up already, think it's going to be a great game no matter who wins, may all players survive uninjured!

Iam very nervous as always but even more so after hearing all the people picking the ravens. Has me very very worried.

Well, it's 5.38 in the morning and I've woken up in a great mood. I'm ready for the Patriots to kick some arse.

This will be a brawl unlike anything we've ever seen at Gillette.

The patriots need to find a way to survive.

Eh, I really don't want windy conditions. I know the theory is it'll affect Balt more than us because of their vertical attack but the fact is TFB is our strength. We are the superior team coming in, I want as little outside interference as possible.

Mine is too! But we just have to believe that our team is prepared and that'll give a good game. If we can keep Brady clean and get pressure on Flacco then I don't see any reason why the Pats should not be victorious. But of course this is the NFL and it's any given Sunday.

I trust you've fired up the grill like you were instructed to?

Bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs and perhaps some beans for breakfast good sir. I'll leave the beer to celebrate another post-season Patriots victory .

Inactives should be announced soon. Should be fairly straightforward.

SOFT!!!!

I'm doin the same.

...you realize Pollard is playing right??
I'll say the same thing as last year.....Pollard is bad Juju. His mere presence is bad luck as far as injuries go.

Brady

Welker

Very, very calm here. I was nervous before last week's game, but not today. Just more sense of let's get this war started!
