Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Jets Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Alright, that should get the offense some good field position hopefully.

Rex knows Jonas Gray is nothing special, he doesn't respect him so he just focuses on pass rushing.

It is working, as I would expect.

Blitz failed to get there. Thank goodness it was Geno Smith otherwise that be a conversion.

Seeing a trend now. Overloading delay blitzes isolating Solder. Spread them out.

Who is the genius who disagreed with this?

this oline does not handle blitzes well. unlike the past when blitzing brady would kill you, this may not be the case this year.

Yeah, that's why the Pats have allowed fewer sacks this year than last year..

8 guys blocking 6 rushers and there are 2 guys on Brady....this is beyond pathetic!!!

LMAO thankfully we're playing the jets offense, otherwise we'd be in big trouble!!

I actually trust this defense against any offense. Though clearly the Jets offense is as putrid as they come

I get what McDaniels is trying to do...Jets are once again flooding the short routes so he's trying to get off at least one long ball play to set them up, but there's not enough protection.

Uhhh... is it too late to change our predictions in Alamo's weekly thread??

Some of you guys need to calm down. It's a road game against a divisional opponent with a coach who historically does reasonably well against us. If you were expecting the Pats to walk in and blow them out, then that's on you.

The Pats need to get Vereen in there. The Jets have trouble with him him historically in both the run and pass. He must still not be close to 100%.

we should get decent field position after this punt hopefully....they need to take advantage of that

The depth or lack of depth in quality behind edelman is showing. Really credit McDaniels what he has done so far this season with one weapon -Gronk.

Wow how did the refs miss the block in the back?
