Butler is terrible wtf

He's probably the best 5th CB in the NFL.

Butler's job was not to give up a first down in that play and he did his job. He was playing the down marker.

mmm in NCAA you get 1 point in that play and 2 if they go for 2

The old AFL gave points for scoring on a recovered fumble on an xtra point but of course the NFL had to do away with that when they merged.

It is the correct assessment. Butler is not having a great night in any stretch of the imagination. But to blame him for doing his job correctly on that play is not fair. He was clearly playing a zone in that he was to deny the first down rather than the ball since they were in clear punting territory on 4th and anything.
