The refs took two or three yards away from the Patriots. They gained about 4.5 on the first and 20. Because of the procedure call, the refs didn't spot it. So when the penalty was declined, they didn't know where to spot it, so they just put it at the 12. Not a huge thing, but really lousy officiating.
They probably don't have to many plays for 3 and 25. Its not dumb its smart football, more bad than good can come out of throwing a bomb against a dime defense on 3rd and 25.
I think the Dirty Birds are being overestimated, if anyone thinks they are going to score every drive, they are not good enouph to do that.
