This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Vereen's not a great between the tackles option, and to my eyes Blount seems to have trouble when he's the feature guy and the offensive line doesn't have a decisive edge over the defensive line. Gray's skillset (vision!) makes him best suited to take the workhorse role in this kind of matchup.
The strategy was fine, but why Vereen on all three plays, with a play that has proven to ineffective almost always (ignoring the TD earlier bc it suits my argument)?
Give Blount or gray at least one of those runs if that's the way you want to play it. Not to mention the fact that they have a better chance of "eating more clock" as opposed to Vereen getting stuffed instantly 3 times in a row.
Vereen didn't get stuffed every play. He ran to the sidelines on one play for about 15 yards. It takes as much time running 15 yards sideways as it does up field unless you get slowed down on the run.

We don't know that. We are basing this on one game against a soft defense in Indy. A defense that allowed Blount to run all over them in the playoffs last year.

We don't know how good Gray is, sure. We do know that neither Blount nor Vereen are going to cut it in this matchup. Basically what I am saying is I'd like at least see Gray get a shot to see what he can do.
