Put the blame on the offense where the blame belongs - On Brady. Brady has been awful this game and it isn't McDaniels' fault for that. Brady is letting his balls get batted because he is staring down receivers and his passes are off when he does get the ball beyond the line of scrimmage. I blame Brady for the offense today.
Brady isn't calling 1st and 10 draw plays. Brady isn't keeping arguably our best 1st down runner to zero carries. But Brady is playing like azz. Brady isn't deciding to go quick pass heavy against a team that surrendered 661 yards rushing in 3 games.
Meh. If you're trying to defend those three straight draws, not sure what to tell you. Might as well have taken 3 knees at that point. Passive and "playing-not-to-lose" strategy to end the half.
No because those draws ate up more clock than taking a knee. It was the right thing to do was to play conservative and make them use their time outs and then try to pin them deep on the punt. It was the punt that screwed up the strategy.
The only thing I don't understand with McDaniels is why we run the end around with Blount and between the tackles with Vereen. What the heck is that about?

Just think, you'd all be moaning if they passed it 3 straight plays and they were all incompletions. The idea of running to burn Miami TOs was good the execution was awful.
I still don't get what is wrong with that? The Pats were trying to eat up the clock and force them to expend their time outs. If the punt coverage didn't screw up, the Dolphins would have had to had moved about 40 yards in about 20 second to kick a field goal with no time outs. The strategy was right.
