Not saying I disagree with this, but if true, they might as well just regroup for next year and look to the draft. I mean, Hernandez may be done for the year, don't know about Welker and what he has going on, and there are no great lineman coming to the rescue to replace the terrible ones on the Pats. Yes Connolly is out, but waters is done and we'd stuck with Solder now.

I'd break this down in detail, but this is a game thread. Suffice it to say that Welker wouldn't be on the roster if they didn't think he'd recover, Solder will improve and Connolly is better than Thomas.
