If the refs had seen that it would've been a 15-yard penalty. The "slit-throat" gesture was outlawed by the league years ago.

The rules explicitly ban it, as a matter of fact.

Note 4: Violations of (c) will be penalized if any of the acts occur anywhere on the field. These acts include but
are not limited to: throat slash; machine-gun salute; sexually-suggestive gestures, prolonged gyrations;
or stomping on a team logo.

No wasn't peepin out game thread. I was watchin game and as bleak as it looked I never stopped Believin. I'm surprised everyone didn't get'da memo about jumpin off'da bridge after 24-0 halftime lead broncos had. We all know how that turned out, well ones that didn't turn off game or bailed from Gillette.

I've never understood the appeal of the throat gesture... Just seems a bit vile and tasteless. But, Gordon did run wild this game. He seems like a character. I'd not be surprised if he gets suspended at some point in his pro career.

Sadly, skill and intelligence aren't always a duo.
