I think Belichick let Matt Patricia run the D this year and it shows. The Pats defense is as fundamentally bad as the Eagles defense was, both run by rookie coordinators.

At least Juan Castillo has one heck of an excuse since he was coaching offensive linemen a year ago...Patricia's been around forever.
