Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Bills Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

So can Ben Volin be blacklisted or something? He's never, ever right about anything to do with the team.

For someone who's job it is to report accurate news about the team, the guy fails miserably.
Without a shadow of doubt, the decision to employ Volin as a Patriots beat writer has been a fail of monumental proportions. Very little if anything he offers is of substance or of quality writing. IMO, he is not very good at his job.

Well you know he is never getting fired. Pats fans hate him so the globe knows they got the right guy for the job.

It's gotten to the point where, barring corroboration from someone competent, I assume that the opposite of what he's claiming is true.
Now I am wondering who was in a walking boot?

Well we are talking about the globe here, so he probably has the best job security out of every Pats beat writer in Boston.

I assumed that was a joke. Did he really tweet that?

By the way is plex any good? Was thinking of using it.
Yeah it works awesome. It's really simple to use, too. I've got a big library and it catalogs it all for you with little to no effort, and even my wife can use the Roku app easily if she wants to watch something.

So no serious injuries today, but a clear need for Connolly, Vollmer, and Solder to get healthy. Even then we are staring at more than a month of poor offensive performance, save the 3rd quarter of the Miami game. Biggest question for this team heading into the playoffs is the OL.

Yes. Then he deleted it when he realized he was wrong.

The Volin Tweet was still up a couple of minutes ago, LaFell deleted his Tweet though by the looks of things if that's who you meant.

He's had 24 NFL attempts. Sheesh.
He has 17. He was not that impressive in my opinion. 10/17 for 90 yards, all that scrambling for 16 yards. He has a great release though, and can make all the throws. He reminds me so much of Romo early in his career. He has ways to go but certainly a fun player to watch from an entertainment perspective.

He had 17 today, I talked about his NFL career. For a rookie effectively playing his first NFL game (going by number of snaps), I thought he did well. It's a little bit over dramatic to start comparing to Colin Kaepernick.

It was not a comparison it was statement that if he doesn't work on his pocket passing and pocket awareness he will be.

I imagine it was someone like Gostkowski who Volin mistook for Lafell

I'm going to leave it there. Don't want to get into it.

It not as though he had much of a pocket to work with today.

They should have played boyce a roo. He is great.
