Considering the 2nd best WR in the league is out todays game, this would be obvious.

There had to eventually be consequences for our personnel decisions. For every Moss, Welker, and Gronk, we've had an Ochostinko, Haynesworth, Hernandez, Ras-IR, et. al. Had we not had TB12 all these years, I suspect we'd have been closer to a .500 type team than we'd have ever known.

But everything has limits, even the great Tom Brady. Our "D" isn't improved enough, and our offense is several steps back.

That's not to say these things can't balance out over time, but all of these guys are either rookies or they're rookies in our system. Bummer.

The head coach decided to keep the rooky punter over the reliable veteran punter. Rookies are rookies. They make rookie mistakes. This is the risk he took. We all have to live with it. Go Pats.

It's symptomatic of trying to be cheap, was the same with Welker, decisions made by the FO starting to become very very questionable. The rookies in the offense haven't been involved at all

Especially given how bad the safeties are in coverage, why aren't we blitzing them more?

It's week 1. Young team. Give it some time. If this team is playing like this in Week 9. I'll be right behind y'all in the headhunting... The last two SB winners prove that Sep-Nov results hardly matter.

We use to be able to win games with 17-20 pts. We have to win those games too. Thats what happens in the playoffs. Our D cannot play decent the whole game . They have tons of first round picks yet ,no pressure.
