Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Bear Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

No he wasn't..

I must be watching different games than most of you bc I don't think that Dennard has be good at all this year and he was beaten multiple times against the Jets, including for a TD by Kerley that was negated by a holding call. Maybe he is inactive bc of his shoulder but I wouldn't be surprised if it is due to poor play.

Regarding dobson , they ahd to choose an extra RB white over a WR due to vereen illness.

Dennard plays pretty phsycial at the LOS. They missed him in the earlier games. Notsure why he is inactive.

Dennard plays well in aggressive press man coverage. Apparently we're going to play a soft zone.

That would be completely horrible...

I think so too that they will play zone. They are not going to go one on one with all the WRs. Thing which worries me with giving them a lot of yards is that its going to hard to stop them in the RZ with their big receivers.

I'm not even surprised by Dobson being inactive anymore.

Disappointed about Dennard though. Maybe this is disciplinary?

Just perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Chicago has monster receivers which Dennard tends not to do well against.

Holmes is not monster size.

Butler dressed tho

I may have overstated a bit - but I did re-watch the Jet game and Dennard looked lost on a few plays - poor reaction, wrong decisions.

OT, but waking up in Maui, heading over to the beach bar to watch all the games at 7am... unique.. GO PATS!

Yup with no dennard zone it will be. Let's hope it works

so Butler over Dennard? That one puzzles me.

I thought Dennard was leaps and bounds better than RyanRyan

You'd think Strahan could afford some dental work at this point. That gap drives me absolutely crazy.

I f*cking hope not. Why do you think so?

Are Revis and Browner not enough for man to man coverage?

Wish we could embed Vines here; this is pretty cool:

Brandon LaFell running through warmup drills on the @GilletteStadium field.

LaFell looks really motivated this year, which is good because it seemed like he was complaining earlier. Not so great in long sideline patterns IMO, but a beast running and breaking tackle. Great blocker, but he wants the damn ball! Ha ha. Nothing wrong with that if he's busting tail out there (though he notably quit on one route. Don't think that'll happen again).
