It's just one game, and I expect it'll work itself out, but Solder looks like he doesn't belong in the NFL, now that he doesn't have Mankins by his side.
Belichick has made stupid off-season moves before, but this might finally be the year where he outsmarted himself to the point of no return. Look at the Constant mass substitutions, does that like like a coach with a good handle on the team. It looks like a damn preseason game
I think it is less the loss of Mankins than the coaching of this o-line. Mankins was one guy in the line, Brady is getting blown up on both sides. None of them seem to be able to protect.
