Personally, I thought that offensive line did pretty well, given that Gronkowski is out and the offense has been significantly changed.

1. We no longer had Solder available as a backup TE. The six man line was gone. I hope that Vollmer is back soon. Absent that, I certainly hope that Svitek is healthy,

2. Hooman did a bit better than the first two weeks, but he is no Gronk. Also, Bolden caused one of the sacks. The OL needs help from others.

3. The offense was changed to better suit the current development status of the rookies. This required the OL to hold for much longer. As the announcers repeated often, Brady held the ball much, much longer that he usually does. That was by design. Many of the plays that Brady likes to use simply weren't available. The rookies need to develop a lot more before they can be expect to read a defense, react, and be in the perfect spot to execute. It seems that the hurry up was also dropped, at least for awhile.

4. The situation with regard to the play-calling and game plan will improve. We can only hope that the play options available last year will be back soon.

Gronk is going to have such a cascading effect on this offense once he returns. Take what Hooman was able to get yesterday, and multiply it. Gronk would have found those holes in the zone in the flats, between the numbers, and down the sideline yesterday. I honestly believe that, with him in the game, the Pats had the opportunity to put up over 30 points. He'll also have an extremely positive effect on the run game. He's the best blocking TE in the league.

OK, I agree.

I would note that we had an opportunity for 30 or more yesterday. Brady through an interception in the end zone.

I was talking in terms of even with that interception. Though, that said, that INT might not occur with a healthy Gronk in the game.
